GOODBYE 2016, WELCOME 2017

I just had to share this quote, because it sums up exactly how I want my new year to be. It’s a new beginning, a new chance, an opportunity to achieve new goals, dreams, ambitions. I don’t want to make the standard resolutions of exercise, not eating chocolate, eating healthier…because let’s face it, those only last a few days!

Instead…this year I want to commit to improving upon my self and becoming a better person. I want to surround myself in a general vibe of positivity and to commit to remaining happy and hopeful even in the most adverse of circumstances. I challenge you all to take on 7 steps to happiness this year:

  • Think less, feel more
  • Frown less, smile more
  • Talk less, listen more
  • Judge less, accept more
  • Watch less, do more
  • Complain less, appreciate more
  • Fear less, love more

Remember that nothing is a setback. Nothing can stop you from achieving and succeeding. Every time things don’t go to plan, just stand up, dust yourself off and prepare to come back stronger. Believe in yourself. Really do. Do not let others’ opinion define you. Work hard. Dream bigger. Achieve greater.
