Spent a lot of time vaccinating this week, I’ve given nearly 400 vaccines so far! 💉 Some days have been insanely busy, especially when the vaccine centre was open to walk-ins and we were non-stop vaccinating the whole day! I do enjoy doing it, it’s a change from being stuck behind a laptop screen trying to write essays and it’s been so nice to be back in a clinical environment! 🤗 But...I do think I need to put a limit on how often I go in to vaccinate, because when I do go in it’s a full day from 9am-6pm and by the time I get back Iftar* is in less than 2 hrs and I’m too exhausted to do anything else. I don’t have a minute in the day to work on assignments for which the deadlines are slowly creeping too. 😖
Enjoying a temporary change in scenery to help me get some stuff done. This desk was sent over to me by @flexispot.uk for the new office/studio space I’m trying to do up. It has a 2-stage frame and can be elevated for use standing up which is going to be so handy! I still need to get a few more things for it so I can set it up as a nice packaging station, but for now I get to enjoy working in a new space and I’m loving it! 🤗
How’s everyone doing? I’ve been super exhausted recently. I’ve got a dissertation proposal looming over me (less than a week to submit) and then 5 essays to write! 👀 I’m honestly so glad we don’t have essays in medicine, I’ve learnt that I dislike essays much more than I thought I would have this year! 😅
My absence on here recently can be explained by this photo...I’ve been so busy with @itspaperdaisy. Been moving all the stock to a new space, working on brand new designs and preparing for our biggest restock yet (which is only 2 days away now! Eeek 🙈). Take a look at the sneak peek highlight over @itspaperdaisy to see some of the new planners and notepads that’ll be launching soon! I guarantee you will not be disappointed, particularly if you’re a medical/healthcare student, law student or a student who’s looking for note-taking resources. 🤗 super excited!
Love how the weather is brightening up a little, making me think back to last March (which I can’t believe it’s nearly been a year since 😱). Feeling tempted to do some baking again - maybe I will! Anyone got any recipe ideas? What was the last thing you baked? 🍰
Not me unboxing my LOOKFANTASTIC parcel during my zoom class. I was too excited 😆 I got these all using the Student Beans discount so I thought I’d make the most of the deals and stock up on some fun skincare masks - they’re running a 20% off all products until the 21st of February via Student Beans (I’ll link where you can sign up for it on my story). 🧖‍♀️ You can see me having lots of self-care days coming up with all these! #AD
The new semester is starting for us this week which means new modules! This semester I’ve got 4 modules: Genetic Ethics, Global Health, Society & Law and Mental Health Law which all seem as though they’ll be really interesting! Not looking forward to the 4 essays that’ll be awaiting me at the end though 😪
I’ve not really been feeling this account lately and I can’t get myself to post when I’m not in the mood. It’s a cyclical thing, losing my motivation for Instagram, I’m sure others on here can relate 😅
