Yes you definitely can. Different medical schools have different requirements and some will accept re-sits whereas others might not be as keen. Have a look at the uni websites and look under entry requirements look at what it says for GCSEs to see if the universities that you’re interested in allow re-sits.

University websites are really helpful and very transparent with how they’ll assess your application so it is worth reading the information on there properly. If any university doesn’t mention whether they accept resists then you can always contact them to find out.

You may also have to explain the reasons why you had to re-sit as part of your UCAS reference, but again, in most cases having done re-sits shouldn’t hinder you.
