#AskAMedStudent: How many notes would you say you have for 1st year?

In first year we had a total of 17 cases so that’s a total of 17 PBL weeks.

Each week I’d make a set of notes on the PBL case which would be around 50 typed pages. I’d also make a separate set of notes on the anatomy content for that week which would vary quite a bit depending on the topic but I’ll say an average of 30 sides (with lost of big diagrams and pictures in it).

So…in total: 80 x 17 = 1360 (approx) pages of notes in Year 1.
